On July 24, 2012, the Congressional Budget Office released an updated analysis of the Medicare payment reductions included in the Affordable Care Act. This updated CBO estimate has the Medicare payment reductions accounted for in the full 10-year budget window. This totals an estimated $716 billion between 2013 and 2022.

To show how the reductions are distributed across states and counties the  Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota has released an updated working paper from their Medical Industry Leadership Institute to reflect the state and county-level impacts based on the updated CBO estimate.

Healthsprocket has two new lists posted based on this report which show the  States with Lowest Total Medicare Fee‐For‐Service and Medicare Advantage Payment Reductions for 2013-2022 (Millions) and  States with Highest Total Medicare Fee‐For‐Service and Medicare Advantage Payment Reductions for 2013-2022 (Millions).
