The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality released a report detailing the difference in readmissions rates between acute and chronic conditions hospitalizations. There are two healthsprocket lists this week which provide findings from this report. Both lists contain the 30-day readmission rates following surgical hospitalizations for different expected payers by age group. You can see the data for acute conditions or chronic conditions.
