Almost Half of American Women Went Without Preventive Care Services in Last Year

- 22% skipped preventive health services, such as a yearly check-up or routine test
- 14% skipped a recommended medical test or treatment
- 22% did not get a vaccine recommended by a health care professional
- 12% couldn't get an appointment with a primary care physician
- 6% couldn't get an appointment with an OBGYN
- 4% couldn't get an appointment for a health screening/diagnostic test
- 45% experienced any of the above
