Definitive Healthcare: 6 Survey Insights on Healthcare AI/ML Use

- Just under one-third of survey respondents said that their organizations currently use artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML).
- Of these, about 36% are using this AI/ML for either computer-aided image detection for oncology or process/workflow improvement.
- Another 34% are using AI/ML to suggest more impactful care options.
- About 40% of respondents plan to incorporate AI/ML into their daily operations in the next two years.
- 57% said cost was their organization’s biggest impediment to implementing and using AI.
- 40% think AI will have the biggest impact on reducing the time of diagnosis and aiding in earlier disease detection.
