3. Kaiser's service area currently includes Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Mid-Atlantic States (VA, MD, DC), Northern California, Northwest (Oregon, Southern Washington), Southern California
4. Group Health's service area currently includes All or parts of 20 counties in Washington and two counties in North Idaho
5. Kaiser currently has 17,791 physicians and 177,445 employees; Group Health currently has 1,000 physicians and 6,900 employees
6. Proceeds of this transaction — $1.8 billion — will fund creation of a new, not-for-profit community foundation
7. Group Health physician staffing is provided by Group Health Permanente, P.C., which is already affiliated with Kaiser's Permanente Medical Groups through the Permanente Federation
