- Vermont: 0.19 ICU beds per 1,000 adults
- Hawaii: 0.20 ICU beds per 1,000 adults
- South Dakota and Wyoming: 0.23 ICU beds per 1,000 adults
- Alaska and New Hampshire: 0.24 ICU beds per 1,000 adults
- Connecticut, Iowa, Maryland and Oregon: 0.26 ICU beds per 1,000 adults
- California, Idaho, Maine, New Jersey and Washington: 0.27 ICU beds per 1,000 adults
Notes: U.S. average: 0.34 ICU beds per 1,000 adult population
