- Percent of uninsured patients: 24% in FQHCs that screened patients; 27% in FQHCs that did NOT screen patients
- Served an urban area: 63% of FQHCs that screened patients; 56% of FQHCs that did NOT screen patients
- Number of unique patients per year on average: FQHCs that screened served 23,368; FQHCs that did NOT screen served 17,200
- Located in a Medicaid expansion state: 72% of FQHCs that screened; 64% of FQHCs that did NOT screen
- Located a state with an active Medicaid ACO: 24% of FQHCs that screened; 11% of FQHCs that did NOT screen

In the study, 978 FQHCs, serving 22.9 million patients, screened for social risk. 406 FQHCs, serving 7.0 million patients, did not screen for social risk.
