- During an emergency room visit: 14.9% received an opioid prescription.
- In an outpatient clinic: 3.1% received an opioid prescription.
- For clavicle fractures: 47.0% received an opioid prescription.
- For ankle fractures: 38.1% received an opioid prescription.
- For dental problems: 59.7% of adolescents and 57.9% of young adults received an opioid prescription.
