HIMSS: % of Healthcare Organizations That Budget for Cybersecurity

1. 60% surveyed claim cybersecurity commanded 3% or more of the budget
2. 40% reported only allocating 1% to 2% to cybersecurity
3. 32% said 3% to 6% of the budget
4. 17% allocate 7% to 10%
5. 11% of respondents allocate more than 10% of their budget to cybersecurity
6. 8% of respondents indicated that no funds have been allocated for cybersecurity
