- The Health Insurance Marketplace was designed as a one-stop shopping experience
- You can only get help paying for your plan if you buy it through the Marketplace
- If you don't buy insurance, then you will be penalized
- You can no longer be refused health insurance due to a pre-existing condition
- If you have employer-based insurance, Medicare or Medicaid, then you don't need to do anything
