Submitted by Clive Riddle on Wed, 09/21/2011 - 16:50
- Part of the massive disconnect in everyone's thinking about payment is how the systems used by payers are far more often than not, different from how individual physicians are actually paid.
- Everyone keeps thinking that all we really need to do is come up with the magical means of payment and everything will right itself.
- We may have stopped hunting for El Dorado, the Fountain of Youth, and Elvis, but we keep hunting for the right way to pay for care.
