Recently, a healthsprocket list was posted displaying six ways to successfully drive an mHealth project. The list comes from a Healthcare Global article by Stephanie Ocano. She shares that technology integration within the healthcare sector has potential to go further in regards to public health services.

There needs to be a facilitation of professional practice and communication while decreasing health disparities, but mHealth is a pretty new project that must be adapted for global practices to be effective. The six steps to mHealth success is brought in the form of personal coaching and training events to bring in the necessary confidence to everyone involved in mHealth. Step 1 is identifying a viable opportunity. Step 2 is to identify all stakeholders and benefits for each of them. Step 3 is to build a sustainable business model. Step 4 is to design for success. Step 5 is to acquire, build and deliver. Finally, step 6 is to measure and improve. In order to greatly enhance the effect of mHealth, there needs to be a consistent movement towards strategic planning, development, and evaluation of the mHealth activities.
