  2. Not realizing that you may be able to switch Medicare Advantage plans after open enrollment.
  3. Keeping your Part D plan choice on autopilot.
  4. Automatically buying the same Part D plan as your spouse.
  5. Not picking the right medigap plan when you first enroll.
  6. Forgetting that you can sign up for Medicare at 65, even though the full retirement age for Social Security is now at least 66.
