Notes: As PwC's Health Research Institute (HRI) explains in a new report, The new gold rush: Prospectors are hoping to mine opportunities from the health industry, new competitors await at every turn. In fact, 76% of the Fortune 50 companies are now in the health industries or have a health division. In addition, HRI research found that US consumers are willing to spend more than $13 billion of their own money each year on new types of healthcare services and products
