Thailand introduced a universal healthcare system in 2002, making affordable primary healthcare available throughout the country. With a strong economy and a significant middle class, there are significant opportunities for pharmaceutical companies and suppliers of medical products. The demand for medical devices is also set to continue to show strong growth.
