Looking beyond just healthcare, what do experts see as major overall social media trends for 2017?

 

Anna Johansson writes in Forbes tells us five ways millennial social media habits will change In 2017:

  1. Ratings will be everywhere. 
  2. Workplace communication will start to shift. The use of social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter is starting to become more tolerated in the workplace.
  3. Millennials will face a choice: Bail on social media platforms, or fall deeper in the echo chambers. where users end up surrounding themselves in news and ideas they already agree with.
  4. Overall millennial social media usage will start to decline.
  5. We’ll see new ways to communicate concisely and nonverbally.
